Let your imagination take flight at the St Annes International Kite Festival, returning to the coast from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 August 2025. It’s a three-day celebration of colour, creativity and coastal fun… and it’s just around the corner from Hy.
What is the Kite Festival? Held on the wide sands of St Annes beach, the festival features professional kite fliers from across the UK and beyond. Watch as the skies fill with gigantic creatures, precision stunt kites, and beautiful displays choreographed to music.
Festival Schedule
- Friday (12pm–10pm) – Opening day and spectacular illuminated night flying.
- Saturday (11am–5pm) – Full day of flying, food, funfair, and beachside activities.
- Sunday (11am–4pm) – Final day of flights and family entertainment.
