Halloween is Back at Hy 🎃

If you joined us last year, you’ll remember how Hy went all out for spooky season. From the cobwebs and pumpkins in reception to our Halloween giveaway (congratulations again to our winner, Freya!), it was a month to remember. Guests told us they loved the chance to share their Halloween stories, and we loved reading every single one.

This year, we’re doing it all again… with even more treats in store.

👻 Spooky Stays, Big Prizes
Hy will be dressed up for Halloween all through October, so every stay has a little extra magic. And yes, the Halloween giveaway is back. Guests who stay between 1st October and 2nd November can enter by sharing their Halloween story. On the 3rd of November, one lucky guest will win a voucher equal to the number of nights they booked during October. So the more you book, the more you get back.

🖌️ A Family Art Party to Remember
We’re also introducing something new for 2025: a family-friendly Halloween arts and crafts day on Halloween weekend. Led by a local artist, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season together and take home your own spooky creations. More details will be announced soon.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

   • The giveaway is open to guests who have booked and completed a stay at Hy Hotel between 1st October 2025 and 2nd November 2025.

   • Only guests who have booked directly with Hy Hotel are eligible.

   • Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

2. How to Enter

   • To enter, eligible guests must submit their Halloween story during their stay. Stories can be submitted at Reception or via email to reservations@hyhotels.co.uk.

   • Each booking constitutes one entry. Multiple entries per booking are not permitted.

3. Prize

   • One winner will receive a Hy voucher back for their stay (covering the accommodation cost of their booking only).

   • The voucher will be processed within 14 working days of the winner being announced.

4. Winner Selection

   • The winner will be chosen at random on 3rd November 2025 by a panel consisting of Hy Hotel staff (Maxine, Julia, and Esther).

   • The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. General

   • Entries made by professional competition entrants or automated submissions will not be accepted. The giveaway is intended for genuine Hy Hotel guests only.

   • By entering, participants agree to their names and entry being used for marketing purposes, including social media, the Hy Hotel website, and email communications.

   • Hy Hotel reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or cancel the giveaway at any time without prior notice due to improper conduct or unlawful behaviour against Hy property or staff.

   • This promotion is not open to employees of Hy Hotel or their immediate families.
