Every first Sunday of the month from May through September, this free, open-air brass concert brings music, community spirit, and a touch of heritage right into the heart of St Annes.

🌿 What to Expect

Held in the beautifully kept Ashton Gardens across from Hy, Brass in the Grass is low low-key local event that is cherished by the community. You’ll hear everything from traditional brass band favourites to show tunes and modern classics, performed by Blackpool Brass and other celebrated ensembles from the region.

It’s casual, it’s charming, and it’s completely free. Just bring a blanket, a couple of drinks, or even a picnic, and let the music take you somewhere peaceful for the afternoon.
