What is the Blackpool Air Show? Held over two days (Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2025), the Blackpool Air Show is a free, family-friendly spectacle that sees world-class pilots take to the skies above the iconic Blackpool Promenade. From the thunder of fast jets to the grace of vintage aircraft, it’s a must-see summer highlight for visitors of all ages.

This Year’s Highlights The 2025 show features a stellar line-up:

• The Red Arrows – The world-famous RAF display team return with their thrilling precision aerobatics.
• Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – See the Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster soar once again.
• RAF Typhoon – Feel the roar of one of the RAF’s most powerful modern aircraft.
• AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers, Strikemaster Jet, Catalina Flying Boat, and many more.

Displays run from approximately 12:00–17:00 each day, with the best viewing spots along the Tower Festival Headland.

Getting There from Hy Hy is ideally located for easy access to Blackpool. You can reach the Promenade in 15–20 minutes by car, or opt for an easy bus ride along the coast. We recommend heading down early to grab a prime viewing spot and enjoy the pre-show atmosphere.
