Daytime activities for a fun filled weekend in Blackpool

Merlin attractions Blackpool

Most Merlin attraction experiences typically take between 1 and 3 hours to complete. With that in mind, you may choose to select one for the Saturday and one for the Sunday, giving you enough time to fit in other activities too. Maybe you’ll even have time for a day out in St Annes and Lytham.

If you’re planning on enjoying more than one Merlin attraction during your visit, you may be able to book them together to receive a discount.

The Blackpool Tower

If you want to be wowed then you must take a trip up the Blackpool Tower. After an exciting 4D cinema experience, you’ll be transported up to the tower so you can see far and wide across the local area. You might even be able to see us at Hy Hotel, don’t forget to wave.

Inside the Blackpool tower, you can even pay a visit to the circus or the ballroom – where Strictly Come Dancing is filmed!

The impressive circus is sure to get you laughing and is a perfect treat if you’re bringing little ones along with you.

Peter Rabbit experience

Another great option for little ones is the Peter Rabbit experience. Here little ones can enjoy exploring the gardens and splashing in Jeremy Fisher’s pond.

A fun sticker trail leads to the meeting of Peter Rabbit! The little ones are sure to be impressed by this experience.

The Blackpool Dungeon

If you’re visiting with older children, the Dungeons is a great attraction to visit. You’ll be taken back to experience the history of Blackpool, which will not only be scary but also informative.

Each aspect of the Dungeon has been carefully planned to give you an adrenaline filled, shivering experience.

While not part of the famous Merlin group, the Sandcastle Waterpark is just as impressive. It’s also the biggest indoor waterpark in the UK! There’s a huge range of slides and attractions for the whole family to explore.
